  • Size: MIN 4x2x2 PER ADULT PYTHON.

  • Bedding: Sphagnum moss or mulch substrate. (NO Calcium or Vitamin sand, ground nuts, wood shavings, Linoleum, shelf liners, or reptile carpet.)

  • Decor: Solid ceramic food and water bowls. Rocks or logs for basking, Hides, caves, burrows, flagstone and rough stones for shedding.

  • Note: Barred top for ventilation. Solid glass reptile tank.

  • Cleaning: Spot clean waste and old food daily. Must be fully cleaned every 6months. Change substrate, rinse with warm water and dish soap, disinfectwith vinegar or Hydrogen Peroxide, clean soiled areas or items, re-bed.

  • Lighting: Ball Pythons need a UVI of 2.0-3.0 in their basking area, measured by Solar meter 6.5. Light source distance from basking area (highest point in cage) must be measured by the Solar meter.

  • Temp & Humidity:

    • Warm hide temperature: 86-90°F (30-32°C)

    • Cool hide temperature: 72-80°F (22-27°C)

    • Nighttime temperature: 70-78°F (21-26°C)

    • General air temperatures in a ball python’s enclosure should never exceed 95°F (35°C)!

    • Humidity: 60-80%. Use measuring gauge.
